Text: Introduction to Toppology by Gamelin and Greene.
Topics: The goal is to cover most of the first three chapters of the textbook, including metric spaces, continuity, compactness, topological spaces, and fundamental groups. If we have time, we will also cover the classification of surfaces, and the Euler characteristic.
Grading: There will be exams and homework.
