With the cross-listing of core CSE courses and elimination of redundancies in the course offerings already accomplished in this area, there are more than enough faculty committed to sustaining the proposed curriculum, including a diverse selection of elective courses. Graduate theses and dissertations are currently being supervised by many of these faculty that are in the area of CSE. There is broad support for this program in the College of Engineering and in Mathematics.
