Parallel Project for Dieterich-Ruina PDE

I conduct research with my advisor Bjorn Birnir and physicist Daniel Lavallee. We study rate and state dependent friction laws attached to nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs)
and their applications to seismology and geophysics. Many areas of applied math intrigue me, but I'm mostly interested in stochastic PDEs, Levy distributions in advanced probability theory,
and numerical analysis.
