Welcome to Jeffrey Case's Spring 2009 MATH 34A class. There is a course syllabus as well as a tentative schedule for the quarter. Any course-related announcements will be recorded on this page.

May 29. Review problems for the final can be found here. Remember that the final is Tuesday, June 9th from 12-3pm in the lecture room. Answers should be available by Monday.

May 8. Answers to the review problems for Midterm II are now available here. It is possible that there are mistakes, so if you think you found one be sure to talk to Magdalena.

May 6. Review problems for Midterm II can be found here. Remember that the test is next Friday, May 15. If you need additional review problems, look through the problems in Chapter 7.

April 21. Answers are now available here. Also, one of the problems involves solving an equation that is too difficult to solve in general, and so we'll never talk about doing it. The problem was rewritten to be easily solvable, by solving for radius. To get the updated version, click here.

April 17. Review problems for Midterm I can be found here. Remember that the test is next Friday, April 24. If you need additional review problems, I would suggest looking at the word problems in Chapter 3.

March 30. WebWork is not set up yet, so there will be no homework until next week. Hopefully it will be set up by the end of the week.
