I recently received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am on the job market. My pronouns are she/her. My research interests are in the intersection of computability theory, algebraic topology and geometry. For my thesis, I proved that detecting whether a map between smooth manifolds is homotopic to an immersion is computable when the codimension is odd. A preprint of this result is available here. My advisor was Fedor Manin.
My email is daniel [at] math [dot] ucsb [dot] edu.
