Baldvin Einarsson
I have a teaching diploma from the University of Iceland which allows me to teach at the
junior college level in Iceland, ages 16-20. For that diploma, I took pedagogy courses and taught my
own class. My teaching mentor, one of my former math teachers, observed my teaching
several times. We met once a week for a whole school year, discussing teaching techniques
and related topics.
Thoughts on teaching
I have written down some thoughts on teaching:
- My teaching philosophy (PDF)
- Some thoughts on how learning and reading mathematics (PDF)
- Tips on how to study for and take a final exam (PDF)
Please feel free to email me if you find any errors, and any comments are greatly appreciated.
