Text: Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions by Smith and Minton, 3rd Edition

Course Description: This course is the second part in the introduction to single variable Calculus.

Prerequisite: MATH 3A

Evaluations and Grading: You will be evaluated on weekly homework assignments, two in-class exams, and a final exam. Homework assignments will be administered using Webwork which can be found at http://hw.math.ucsb.edu/webwork/math3b-01-W08/. Your initial username and password is your perm number.

Your final grade will be calculated as follows:
Homework 20%
Exams 35%
Final 45%

Make-Up Policy: Make-ups for exams will only be given with documented University-approved excuses (see University Regulations).

Special Days: Tentative exam dates are Thursday, February 7 and Thursday, March 6. The last day of class is Thursday, March 13. The final exam is on Wednesday, March 19, 4 - 7p.
