Research Interests

My research involves mathematically describing, with the goal of simulating, phonon (heat) transport in microscopic materials. I am looking into both ab initio and stochastic models for understanding phonon flow. The long term goal is to predict macroscopic electric and thermal properties of materials from their microstructure.  My advisor is Carlos J. Garcia-Cervera.
