- The Mathlab is open this summer, 11AM-4PM Monday thru Thursday, 11AM-3PM Fridays, in SH 1607. There is always at least one graduate student who can help with homework problems.
- CLAS also provides extra tutoring for this class.
Visualization Tools:
- I wrote a small visualizer for harmonic oscillators. It allows you to compare multiple systems with differing parameters, along with the ability to animate what the motion would look like in a mass-spring system. I haven't tested it in every browser, but I'm pretty sure it should work in either Chrome or Firefox.
- Here is a small tool that lets you look at how 2x2 matrices behave.
- Here is an applet that lets you quickly find phase portraits for 2x2 systems of differential equations. It's pretty nifty, in my opinion.
