The final will be Monday, June 11, from 8am-11am in our usual classroom.

Textbook: Analysis with an Introduction to Proof,
Steven R. Lay
Course Description:
The goal of this course is to become comfortable
working with mathematical definitions and
with writing proper proofs.
The material introduced
will be on some basic concepts of analysis, including
some set theory, properties of real numbers, sequences and limits,
and possibly limits and continuity of functions.
Homework and Quizzes:
There will be one or two problem sets each week; the problems will be
posted on the course website and should be turned in by the beginning of
class on the due date.
Also, there will usually be a quiz every week in class, often covering
definitions, simple examples, or specific proofs.
Midterms:
There will be one midterm, tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 11th.
Final Exam: The final exam will be on
Monday, June 11th,
from 8-11am.
Grading:
Class Participation: 10%
Homework & Quizzes: 20% each
Midterm: 25%
Final: 25%
