Research Interests

I am Cynthia Flores, a math graduate student at UCSB. My advisor is Gustavo Ponce. My research interests lie at the intersection of harmonic analysis, mathematical physics and PDE. I am currently studying the Benjamin-Ono equation in weighted Sobolev spaces.

Here is my vitae.

Publication

C. Flores, (2013) On decay properties of solutions to the IVP of the Benjamin-Ono equation, J. Dyn. Diff Eq, (DOI) 10.1007/s10884-013-9321-6

This work was recently presented at the Joint Math Meetings in Baltimore, MD for the Association for Women in Math (AWM ) Workshops. Here is a copy of my poster. Many asked for the template I used to design the poster; find it here.
