Math 124a: PDEs

Final

The final will be Friday, Dec. 14th. The final review is here.

Final exam solutions

Notes

Lecture notes from this quarter:
   Solving the heat equation
The heat equation with a source
The wave equation with a source, on a half-line.

Midterm

The midterm will be on Thursday, Nov. 8th. You can download the review here.

Homework

The last homework isn't due until next Tuesday (Dec. 4th). You should be able to get started on a lot of it this week, but I'll also add an extra office hour on Monday Dec. 3nd (from 2:30-3:30) in case you have questions that come up over the weekend.

Pictures!

I've added pictures of solutions to the wave equation. (Including movies!)
